All our courses / qualifications are self-study online distance learning courses. No classroom attendance is required.

All courses / qualifications are assessed by an assignment, one assignment per unit. There are no examinations. Assignment deadlines will be emailed on course enrolment.

All course levels have eligibility criteria. Please refer to the course information on the website to check whether you are eligible for the course before choosing the automatic enrolment option. Please contact Support Services via email at support@sussexbusinessschool.com if you have any questions about your eligibility for a course.

If you complete an application form online, we will contact you via email to confirm if you are eligible for the applied course.

The course pages describe the eligibility criteria for each level and lists the units that are appropriate for that level. The course pages also state the amount of credits that are required to make up the qualification. Please ensure that your unit choice equals or exceeds the required credit points for the appropriate qualification. There are two ways to enrol on our courses:

Option one
You can enrol automatically and purchase a unit / course on this website. We will contact you to confirm enrolment and eligibility via email. Please ensure that your unit choice equals or exceeds the required credit points for the appropriate qualification.

Option two
You can complete an application form online and we will contact you via email.

Yes. If you are paying per unit, then you only need to pay the CMI registration fee on the purchase of the first unit. If you are paying in full, then you need to pay the CMI registration fee with your study fees at the start of your course.

You can purchase the course / qualification per unit at a time as you progress through the course, or you can pay in full at the beginning of the course, or you can spread the cost of the course into a monthly subscription at 0% (Only Certificate and above courses are available with subscriptions)

If you enrol automatically via the website, payment can be made via debit / credit card.

If applying for a course via the online application form, you will be emailed an invoice and you can pay via credit / debit card or via bank transfer.

Payment plans are only available via online subscription on our website.

We do not accept personal cheques. Only company / corporate cheques will be accepted.

Yes. Please forward purchase order number and contact details of your accounts department to Support Services via email to support@sussexbusinessschool.com

Yes. If you have studied with another organisation, and now want to do a top-up with Sussex Business School, please email Support Services at support@sussexbusinessschool.com.

  • Each student is allocated a personal tutor for the duration of the course. Tutors can be contacted via Moodle (Virtual Learning Environment) and telephone.
  • Students have 24-hour online access to Moodle
  • Students have 24-hour online access to CMI learning resource, Management Direct
  • Students have access to Student Forums on Moodle
 

Support Services can be contacted via email, Moodle, telephone and social media if they have any problems, issues or concerns about their course.

Yes, the CMI qualifications are recognised in the UK and internationally by universities and colleges. They are regulated qualifications on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) which is regulated by Ofqual – a UK Government department.

The difference is the number of credit points.

As the CMI qualifications are regulated qualifications on the RQF, the level 7 Extended Diploma or the level 7 Diploma may possibly get you exemptions and or entry onto a Master’s / MBA Degree. Please email Support Services support@sussexbusinessschool.com for further information.
