Qualification

  • Nationally recognised: all credits earned are transferable to other university or college programmes within a similar discipline

Entry criteria

To study the CMI Level 5 Professional Consulting course you must be:

  • Aged 19 or over
  • Have work experience as a Manager or in a similar role.

Start date

  • Every Tuesday and Thursday.

Course assessment

  • Completion of a written assignment per Unit (word count per assignment 2,500 to 3,000)
  • No examinations

Required study time

  • 8 to 10 weeks per Unit.

The Certificate consists of 2 Units and has a transferable credit value of a minimum of 13 credits.

Course content: 2 Units from the following (credit value of 13 or more):

  • Introduction to Consulting Essentials (credit value 8)
  • Planning and Managing Consultancy Interventions (credit value 8)
  • The Role and Responsibilities of a Consultant (credit value 6)
  • The Client Relationship (credit value 8)
  • Communication for Consultants (credit value 7)
  • Problem Solving Tools and Techniques for Consultants (credit value 9)

- Level 5 Diploma in Professional Consulting

The Diploma consists of 6 Units and has a transferable credit value of a minimum of 43 credits.

Course content: Learners must complete ALL Units in Group A and 3 Units from Group B.
