Why most of us fail? If you are in the incredible 20% of people who hit their resolutions every year, congratulations! You are a rare breed 🙌🥳👏 For the rest of us, it is mostly a journey downwards into a spiral of failure, guilt, and frustration which circles back to thinking less of ourselves and hardly ever making us feel good or achieve anything meaningful. Most of us fail for three main reasons: Lack of clarity, Unreasonable expectations, and Lack of inspiration or passion.

Would you like a much gentler and more successful approach to creating a positive change?

In the last few years, many have found the “Word of the year” method a much more effective and rewarding experience:

  • Drop the resolutions
  • Focus on creating a positive feeling and personal inspiration
  • Choose a single word for the year ahead
  • A word that will inspire you to make positive small changes to reach your most important goals

How to choose your word

Identify what is most important and realistic for you in the coming 12 months to achieve.
Think about what would inspire you to move in that direction.
Think about what it would feel like to be moving closer to your goal.
Words will start coming to you as you think about these things.
Pick a word that feels good to you, that resonates with who you are and where you want to go.
Once you choose your word, get creative and define on paper what that word means to you, this will go beyond standard definition and will have multiple personal meanings for you. You can then make small daily changes to your life based on different meanings you assign your word and begin a journey of positive transformation.

Why not get your word printed and framed for an inspirational reminder in your day to day life? Or make it your digital wallpaper?
